Artist Background: Sons of Kemet are a British jazz group formed in 2011, made up of Shabaka Hutchings, Seb Rochford, Tom Skinner and latest addition Theon Cross (taking over from Oren Marshall on tuba). The group uses saxophone and clarinet (Hutchings), tuba (Marshall, Cross), and two drummers to make their music and features a mixture of jazz, rock, Caribbean folk and African music.
