Bad Mutha Fucka

Upchurch's Bad Mutha Fucka blends country, rap, rock and comedy in one unrepentant package: a macho, aggressive celebration of "hillbilly" culture from a brash Tennessee rapper. One moment he'll channel hard rock ballads with sentimental salutes to "The Old Days"; then on "Donald Trump" he'll boast of a glitzy lifestyle through bare-knuckle shout rap. Tracks like "Down in the Holler" aim to bridge genres, mixing the country sounds of traditional Tennessee music with the double-time hi-hats and pugnacious rhymes of contemporary rap.
