Description: Dutch death doom elite ASPHYX will release its 10th studio album, "Necroceros", on January 22, 2021 via Century Media Records. The LP was recorded at Tom Meier's Tom Meier Studio and at Paul Baayens's The Mörserstudio, and mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann at Greenman Studios. It once again features front cover artwork by Axel Hermann.

Artist Background: Asphyx was formed in 1987 by Bob Bagchus and Tony Brookhuis. Chuck Colli was picked up for vocals and bass. This line up recorded the first two demos, after which Eric Daniels was added. In March 1989 Colli was replaced Theo Loomans and the band recorded the "Crush the Cenotaph" demo. Brookhuis then left the band and the remaining three recorded "Embrace the Death" album which was never released due to label problems. After Martin van Drunen left Pestilence in the early 1990s, he joined Asphy... Part of the Oldenzaal, Overijssel music scene. Emerged in the 1980s era. Associated with Death Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
