"Death Fiend" showcases a raw and aggressive sound characteristic of early extreme metal. The production is gritty, emphasizing a lo-fi aesthetic that complements the chaotic energy of the tracks. Instrumentation features heavily distorted guitars, pounding drums, and guttural vocals, creating a dense sonic texture that feels both visceral and unrefined. The tempo varies across tracks, with some like "Chainsaw" delivering relentless speed, while others, such as "Sweet Torment," introduce a more menacing, mid-paced groove. Each track is infused with a sense of urgency and brutality, making the album distinctive in its unapologetic embrace of darkness and aggression, capturing the essence of its era's underground metal scene.
