Contradiction" presents a complex tapestry of sound that intertwines elements of black metal and avant-garde metal. The production is polished yet raw, allowing for a dynamic range of textures that shift between atmospheric passages and aggressive bursts. Guttural vocals are layered over intricate guitar work, creating a dense sonic landscape that is both haunting and immersive. The tempo varies throughout, with tracks oscillating between frenetic energy and slower, more contemplative moments. The use of dissonance and unconventional song structures adds to its distinctive character, making each track a unique exploration of darkness and introspection. This album stands out for its ability to blend brutality with a profound sense of depth.
