Les derniers salopards" by Maes showcases a dynamic blend of hip-hop and rap, characterized by its varied tempos and energetic beats. The production features a mix of heavy basslines and sharp percussion, creating a gritty yet polished sonic landscape. Tracks like "Dragovic" and "Police" highlight a darker, more aggressive texture, while songs such as "Elvira" and "Distant" introduce smoother, melodic elements that contrast with the harder edges. The use of atmospheric synths and layered vocal samples adds depth, making the album distinctive within the French rap scene. Overall, the project balances raw energy with intricate production, appealing to listeners who appreciate both rap and electronic influences.
