V - Oceans" envelops the listener in a dense, immersive soundscape that merges elements of death and black metal with funeral doom aesthetics. The production is deliberately raw, allowing the heavy, distorted guitar riffs to resonate with a haunting clarity, while the deep, guttural vocals pierce through the atmospheric layers. Tracks like "Aurore" and "Déluge" unfold at a glacial tempo, creating a sense of weight and despair, punctuated by ambient drone elements that enhance the overall melancholic texture. The interplay between the crushing heaviness and ethereal soundscapes makes this album distinctive, inviting listeners into a profound exploration of darkness and introspection.
