"Ages 3 And Up" by Supernova presents a vibrant tapestry of alternative rock, characterized by its playful yet gritty production. The album features a mix of punchy guitar riffs and buoyant bass lines, creating a dynamic soundscape that oscillates between energetic anthems like "Oreo" and more introspective tracks such as "Drool." The tempo varies, with tracks like "Mechanical" delivering a driving rhythm, while "Hippy" offers a more laid-back groove. Texturally, the album balances raw, lo-fi elements with polished moments, showcasing a distinct contrast that enhances its quirky charm. The use of unconventional song titles like "Gum Fighter" and "Sea Stunt" adds to the album's whimsical feel, making it a unique entry in the alternative genre of the mid-'90s.
