Artist Background: Wolfgang Haffner (born December 7 , 1965 in Wunsiedel ) is a German jazz drummer . Haffner grew up as the son of an organ builder and a church musician and learned to play the drums - and piano - from the age of seven; among others he received lessons from Evert Fraterman . In 1983 he was on tour with Konstantin Wecker . Between 1984 and 1989 Haffner was a member of the Franco-German jazz ensemble; later he played in Peter Herbolzheimer 's big band , with Chaka Khan (1994-1995) and Klaus Dold... Part of the German music scene. Associated with Drum & Bass movement.
