"Pacific Standard Time" envelops listeners in a sun-soaked blend of dreamy synths and laid-back grooves, characteristic of the modern chillwave genre. The production is polished yet warm, with lush layers of shimmering keyboards and smooth basslines that create a relaxed atmosphere. Tracks like "California Sunset" and "Slow Down" feature a steady, mid-tempo rhythm that invites a sense of ease, while "Kiss You Forever" and "Harvest Moon" introduce gentle vocal harmonies that enhance the album's romantic undertones. The textures are rich and inviting, with a nostalgic nod to 80s pop, making it distinctive in its ability to evoke a carefree, summery vibe throughout its runtime.
