I Don't Know" by Splodgenessabounds delivers a raw and energetic punk sound characterized by its brash instrumentation and spirited tempos. The album features a blend of driving guitars and punchy drums, creating a vibrant backdrop for the often humorous and irreverent lyrics. Tracks like "Scrapyard" and "I'm Angry" showcase a gritty texture, with a lo-fi production quality that enhances the punk ethos. The energy is relentless, with anthemic choruses and a sense of urgency throughout, particularly in songs like "Poochie" and "Mongols on the Streets of London." The eclectic mix of themes and playful melodies, combined with a distinctly British punk rock sensibility, makes this album a standout in its genre.
