Reckless Heart" showcases a rich blend of blues textures, characterized by Joanne Shaw Taylor's powerful guitar work and emotive vocals. The production is polished yet retains an organic feel, allowing the raw energy of tracks like "In the Mood" and "Bad Love" to shine through. The instrumentation features a mix of electric guitar, bass, and drums, creating a dynamic soundscape that ranges from the upbeat tempo of "Jake's Boogie" to the soulful balladry of "I've Been Loving You Too Long."
