"Wonderful World + Looney Tunes" showcases Telex's signature blend of synth-pop and electronic textures, characterized by crisp, punchy drum machines and lush synthesizer melodies. The production is polished, with a playful yet melancholic atmosphere that permeates tracks like "L'Amour Toujours" and "So Sad." The tempo varies across the album, maintaining a danceable energy while incorporating moments of introspective calm, particularly in "It Could Happen to You" and "Tell Me It's a Dream." The use of vocoders and layered harmonies adds depth to the sound, creating a rich tapestry of sonic elements. Distinctive for its whimsical yet sophisticated approach, the album captures a unique blend of nostalgia and modernity.
