Nocturnal Beast" presents a relentless barrage of black metal, characterized by its raw production and aggressive instrumentation. The album features a blend of tremolo-picked guitar riffs and blast beat drumming, creating a frenzied energy that permeates tracks like "Invocation of the 68th Demon" and "Demonic Possession." The sonic texture is dense, with layered guitar harmonies and guttural vocals that evoke a dark, atmospheric intensity. Mid-tempo tracks like "Desolate Passage" provide a haunting contrast, allowing for moments of eerie melody amidst the chaos. The overall sound is marked by a grim, ritualistic quality, making it distinctive within the genre's landscape.
