No me compares con nadie

Juancho de la Espriella and Silvestre Dangond recorded this vallenato album toward the end of their almost decade-long collaboration. Songs like “La Cosita” make it clear that they were still having fun, with the duo freewheeling through an uptempo dance track and laughing as it builds steam. Most of the LP is more melancholy, however, with Juancho’s accordion both echoing and anchoring Dangond’s soaring voice on love-declaring songs like “Mi Amor Eres Tú”.
