"Whistle Down the Wind" is the final studio album by American folk singer and musician Joan Baez, released on 2 March 2018 on the Proper label, her first studio album in almost a decade. The album features songs written by such composers as Tom Waits, Josh Ritter and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Joe Henry produced the album. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics, the album received an average score of 77, based on 6 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".
