Signals

Signals is the Rush album that shows them keeping track with musical developments and cutting their grandiose prog ideas down to human size. The warm synths and cascading drums in “Subdivisions” and “Losing It” are a radio-friendly update of their classic heavy sound, while “The Weapon (Part II of Fear)” has biting New Wave sharpness. “Digital Man” and “New World Man” even have the spry bounce of a band that want to give their fans something to dance to.
