Girl Disrupted

Released on her 31st birthday, Sevyn Streeter’s sparkling debut album traces her journey to womanhood. Through tender, confessional R&B, she relays important lessons she learned along the way that any listener can relate to: Be honest (“Translation”), love yourself first (“Before I Do”), don’t date players (“How Many”) and skip on revenge (“Everything in Me”). The project features a bunch of all-star men, including Wiz Khalifa and The-Dream, but the story is all hers.
