"Nær sólen gar niþer for evogher" presents a haunting tapestry of black metal, characterized by its raw production and atmospheric depth. The album features a blend of tremolo-picked guitar riffs and blast beat drumming, creating a relentless energy that ebbs and flows throughout its tracks. The instrumentation is layered, with keyboards adding an ethereal quality that enhances the dark themes suggested by titles like "Diabolical Beauty" and "In the Depths of My Soul." The tempo varies, oscillating between frenetic bursts and slower, more contemplative passages, allowing for dynamic shifts in intensity. The overall sonic texture is both abrasive and immersive, making it a distinctive entry in the genre's early '90s landscape.
