It is Within the Ruins' first studio album to feature bassist Paolo Galang, who joined in 2015. The album was praised by critics for the incorporation of new elements such as clean vocals on the part of Paolo and Tim Goergen (both a first for Within the Ruins)

Artist Background: Within the Ruins is a deathcore/metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts. They are currently signed to E1 Music and Good Fight Music. The group has released three albums and three EPs. Within the Ruins founding members Joe Cocchi (Guitar) and Kevin "Drummer" McGuill started the band during their high school years (2003). The band went through some line-up changes and finally began working on their first self released EP entitled "Driven By Fear" which was completed in 2005. Followed by th...
