"Leuchtfeuer" showcases a vibrant blend of rock and folk, characterized by rich acoustic instrumentation and layered arrangements. The production is polished yet retains an organic feel, allowing the interplay of traditional folk elements with electric guitar riffs and rhythmic percussion to shine. Tracks like "Orléans" and "Jack O'Lantern" feature lively tempos and anthemic choruses, creating an energetic atmosphere. The album balances upbeat tracks with more introspective moments, as seen in "An Deiner Seite" and "Ich werd' alt," where softer textures and melodic lines evoke a sense of nostalgia. The use of varied instrumentation, including flutes and strings, adds depth, making "Leuchtfeuer" a distinctive tapestry of sound that invites listeners into its emotive world.
