Description: Favorite Noise is more or less a "Greatest Hits" album released outside the United States by the Orange County ska punk band, Reel Big Fish.

At the time of release (March 12, 2002), 14 of the songs originated from the albums Turn the Radio Off and Why Do They Rock So Hard, one song was from the BASEketball soundtrack (the cover of the A-ha hit, "Take On Me") and lastly, "A Little Doubt Goes A Long Way", which was featured on the album Cheer Up!, released later that year.

It was released because Reel Big Fish albums had not previously been available at retail outside of the United States.

Artist Background: Reel Big Fish is an American ska punk band from Huntington Beach, California, best known for the 1997 hit "Sell Out". The band gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, during the third wave of ska with the release of the gold certified album Turn the Radio Off. Soon after, the band lost mainstream recognition but gained an underground cult following. The band was no longer signed to a major record label in 2006 and is currently independent.
