Made between movie shoots, Warlock mixes violent, glammy metal with queasy synths, bits of movie dialogue and Zombie’s inimitable—if unintelligible—bark for a sound as slick as oil and corrosive as acid. Only one of the tracks here even clears three minutes, making the songs feel more like surrealistic vignettes in a long, bad trip.
