Description: "High Noon"  is the third full length studio album by Canadian rock band Arkells, released on August 5, 2014 on the Dine Alone Records label. The album sold 5,200 copies in its first week and debuted at #3 on the Canadian Albums Chart. It is the band's highest position on that chart in their history. By September 2015, High Noon had sold over 40,000 copies and was certified a Gold Record.
The album is a longlisted nominee for the 2015 Polaris Music Prize.

Artist Background: The Arkells are a Canadian rock band, formed in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. In 2008, they signed with Dine Alone Records, home to other Canadian acts such as City and Colour, Bedouin Soundclash, Black Lungs and Cancer Bats. Their first full length record,Jackson Square, was released on October 28th, 2008, and includes their biggest hit "Oh! The Boss is Coming", along with "The Ballad of Hugo Chavez", and "No Champagne Socialist." Part of the Hamilton music scene. Emerged in the 2000s era. Associated with Indie movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
