Description: "What the World Needs Now..."   is the tenth studio album by British rock band Public Image Ltd. It was released on September 4, 2015 through their own label  PiL Official Ltd.
The album cover, drawn by band member John Lydon sports his interpretation of a "wack": a Hopi Kachina clown doll. The singer has long been fascinated by Native American art and cites the "joker or the fool or the idiot," depicted in his painting, as his favorite.

Artist Background: Public Image Ltd (PiL) are an English post-punk band formed by vocalist John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), guitarist Keith Levene and bassist Jah Wobble, with frequent subsequent personnel changes. Lydon is the sole constant member of the band. Lydon emerged after the break-up of the Sex Pistols with PiL's Public Image: First Issue (1978). His new band had a more experimental sound: Wobble's "droning, slow-tempo, bass-heavy noise rock, overlaid by Lydon's distinctive, vituperative rant". Their e...
