Description: "Nights LP (full title: Nights LP: 12 Songs by Mark Kozelek (Live & Rare Versions: 1996-2007))"  is a limited edition compilation album by Mark Kozelek, released on April 1, 2008 in conjunction with the release of Kozelek's updated and expanded lyrics book Nights of Passed Over. The CD was only available with the new version of the book (a limited edition of only 2,500 copies) via Caldo Verde Records' website. The album collects unreleased and rare songs from Kozelek's entire career recorded between 1996 to 2007.

Artist Background: Mark Kozelek (born January 24, 1967, in Massillon, Ohio) is an American musician, songwriter and producer. He is best known as the frontman of both Sun Kil Moon and Red House Painters. Kozelek was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio. Upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, he met drummer Anthony Koutsos. After the pair moved once again to San Francisco, California, Red House Painters formed in 1989 with the addition of guitarist Gorden Mack and bassist Jerry Vessel. From 1992 to 1996, Red House P...
