Description: "Tower Sessions"  is the third live album from blues-rock guitarist, singer songwriter Aynsley Lister , released June 2010 on the Manhaton Records label. The Tower Sessions is in fact a "Greatest Live Hits" album. A collection of 11 songs, that Aynsley has performed on stages throughout the world over the years. Most importantly, the album includes the first ever recording of his fans' favourite track, a truly stellar version of Prince's Purple Rain.
Recorded in January 2010, at The Tower Winchester, totally live, no overdubs or studio trickery, the Tower Sessions is a superb example of Aynsley and his band in their prime: Fresh from the road with that `end of tour tightness' that really brings the songs to life.

Artist Background: Aynsley Lister (born 14 November 1976 in Leicester) is a British blues-rock guitarist/singer and songwriter. Biography: Lister started playing guitar at 8 and played his first concert in a bar band at the age of 13. He had learned guitar by playing along to his father's old 45s of Freddie King, John Mayall and Eric Clapton. By the time he was 18, having already been in several bands, he formed his own, which recorded two albums Messin' With The Kid (1996) and Pay Attention! (1997). Three numb...
