Description: "Beneath the Brine" is the second full length album from the American orchestral indie rock band The Family Crest, released Feb 2014 through the Tender Loving Empire label.  On September 18, 2012, the band announced their plans for a second full-length album, titled Beneath the Brine, by launching a second Kickstarter campaign. The project was successfully funded on November 17, 2012. Beneath the Brine debuted at #16 on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart.

Artist Background: It's fitting that The Family Crest was born in San Francisco, a city known for its rich history of experimentation, innovation and progressive thinking. In 2009, two young musicians -- Liam McCormick (lead vocals, guitar) and his friend, John Seeterlin (bass) -- settled in San Francisco to record a cycle of songs that McCormick had written. For McCormick, there was explicit intent to include as many people as possible in the music-making, based on his belief that everyone is inherently musica...
