Description: The Hourglass Anthology is a compilation album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God which was released in three different forms. The first disc is "Volume One: The Underground Years", which contains their best songs from when they were called "Burn the Priest", and songs from New American Gospel and As the Palaces Burn. The second disc is "Volume Two: The Epic Years", which contains songs from the albums Ashes of the Wake, Sacrament and Wrath. The third form was a box set with volume 1 and 2 and contains a third volume, "Volume 3: The Vault". This volume contains rare and never before heard songs.

Artist Background: Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1990, the group consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. The band is considered to be a part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement. Since its formation, Lamb of God has released six studio albums, one live album, one compilation album and three DVDs. The band's cumulative sales equal almost two million in the United States...
