Awakening the Forest" envelops listeners in a rich tapestry of doom and stoner metal, characterized by its heavy, sludgy guitar riffs and resonant bass lines that create a thick sonic foundation. The production is polished yet retains an organic warmth, allowing the textures of each instrument to breathe. Female vocals soar above the instrumentation, adding a haunting quality that contrasts beautifully with the weighty soundscapes. Tracks like "Bricket Wood Coven" and "Heavy Bough" showcase a deliberate tempo, inviting a meditative experience, while the energy ebbs and flows, maintaining a sense of tension throughout. The album's distinctive blend of ethereal melodies and crushing heaviness makes it a compelling listen within its genre.
