Range Anxiety" by Twerps presents a lo-fi indie rock sound characterized by jangly guitars and understated melodies. The production embraces a raw, unpolished aesthetic that enhances the album's intimate feel. Tracks like "House Keys" and "I Don't Mind" feature a laid-back tempo, allowing the warm, fuzzy textures of the instrumentation to shine through. The energy fluctuates between reflective and upbeat, with songs such as "Adrenaline" injecting a sense of urgency. The interplay of bright guitar riffs and soft vocal harmonies creates a distinctive sonic landscape that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Overall, the album captures the essence of Melbourne's indie scene with its charming simplicity and engaging songwriting.

Artist Background: 1) Forming late 2008 around charismatic guitarist/vocalist Marty Frawley and bassist Rick Milovanovic, the Twerps have quickly risen to become one of Melbourne, Australia's favourite pop bands. They play their own brand of warm and incredibly infectious pop, with elements of the 80s Flying Nun sound and 90s lo-fi. Marty's cheeky but heartfelt songs are complemented by the crystalline guitar lines of guitarist Julia MacFarlane (ex Batrider) and the sympathetic percussion of drummer Patrick O'N...
