"Secret Alphabets" showcases Greenleaf's signature blend of stoner rock and heavy psych, characterized by thick, fuzzy guitar riffs and a robust rhythm section. The production is raw yet polished, allowing the gritty textures of the guitars to shine through while maintaining a powerful low end. Tracks like "Witchcraft Tonight" and "Black Black Magic" feature dynamic shifts in tempo, oscillating between driving grooves and more contemplative passages. The energy throughout the album is consistently high, with anthemic choruses and hypnotic melodies. The interplay of layered instrumentation creates a rich sonic landscape, making the album distinctive in its ability to evoke both heaviness and melodic intricacy, particularly in tracks such as "The Spectre" and "Masterplan."
