"Innocence is Kinky" presents a rich tapestry of avant-garde soundscapes, characterized by its experimental production and eclectic instrumentation. The album oscillates between ethereal and confrontational, often layering haunting vocalizations over minimalist electronic beats and organic sounds. Tracks like "Mephisto in the Water" and "Oslo Oedipus" feature a blend of ambient textures and rhythmic pulses, creating an unsettling yet captivating atmosphere. The tempo varies, with some pieces embracing a slow, deliberate pace while others pulse with frenetic energy. The use of spoken word and fragmented lyrics adds to the album's distinctive nature, inviting listeners into a surreal exploration of identity and desire, all wrapped in a provocative sonic envelope.
