Description: Intergalactic Sonic 7″s is a singles collection, released by punk-influenced band Ash on 9 September 2002. It is available in two formats, with and without the bonus disc, Cosmic Debris. These are both available on CD and vinyl. It was released to celebrate Ash's tenth anniversary and collected the band's eighteen singles along with "Walking Barefoot" which was not a single but, according to his comments in the album notes, Tim Wheeler believed it should have been a single so he insisted it was included.
It peaked at number three in the UK album charts.
The album features artwork by comic artist Pat Lee.
It was also certified Gold by the BPI on October 4, 2002.

Artist Background: Ash are an alternative rock band that formed in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland in 1992. The band has sold 8 million albums worldwide. Band beginning, Trailer and 1977 (1992-1998) Ash officially formed in 1992, reportedly having taken their name from the first word they liked in the dictionary. Prior to this, Wheeler and Hamilton were in a Iron Maiden cover band called Vietnam who formed in 1989. They created three demo tapes that year - Solar Happy in June, Shed in September, and the Home Demo... Part of the Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Alternative Rock movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
