"Taste" showcases a raw and energetic blend of blues-infused rock, characterized by gritty guitar riffs and dynamic rhythms. The production captures a live, unpolished feel, allowing the organic textures of each instrument to shine through. Tracks like "Blister on the Moon" and "Catfish" feature driving tempos and a vibrant interplay between electric guitar and rhythm section, creating a palpable sense of urgency. The album balances moments of intensity with more reflective pieces like "Leaving Blues," where the instrumentation shifts to a more subdued, soulful tone. Overall, the distinctive sound lies in its fusion of bluesy melodies with rock energy, making it a compelling listen for fans of both genres.
