"Molesting the Decapitated" showcases a raw and aggressive sound characteristic of late '90s death metal. The production is gritty, emphasizing a thick, distorted guitar tone that delivers crushing riffs and relentless chugging rhythms. Drumming is frenetic, with blast beats and double bass patterns driving the tempo into a relentless assault. The guttural vocals add a visceral layer, enhancing the album's dark themes. Each track, from "Festering Vomitous Mass" to "Fucked to Death," features a blend of tempo shifts that create a dynamic listening experience, while the overall energy remains high throughout. The album's distinctive blend of brutality and technicality, coupled with its unrefined production, solidifies its place in the genre's canon.
