"Under Your Spell" showcases Shakatak's signature blend of smooth jazz and funk, characterized by polished production and intricate instrumentation. The album features a rich tapestry of sounds, with shimmering keyboards, crisp guitar riffs, and a tight rhythm section that drives the energy forward. Tracks like "Sunshine" and "Paradise Garden" radiate a good-natured warmth, while "Falling" and "Changes" introduce more contemplative textures. The tempo varies, with upbeat tracks like "Running Back to You" juxtaposed against the more laid-back "Tahitian Nights."
