Artist Background: Soma Sonic is a recording artist and production duo consisting of brothers Dominic Paterson and Francois Paterson from Canada. Their musical style blends elements of Lounge, Downtempo, House, Trip hop and Dub. In 1999, their debut album Future, featuring vocal contributions from Katlin Kiss and Amanda Weiss, was originally released independently on their Subsonic Recordings label. It was briefly released in the U.S. on indie label Abstrakt Reality, and then re-released in 2000 on the Sonic Im... Emerged in the 1990s era.
