Description: "Caught in the Act" originally released in 1984 is a live album recorded at the end of a UK tour, just prior to Christmas 1983 at Lindisfarne's spiritual home, Newcastle City Hall. 
"Caught In The Act" is packed with Lindisfarne classics. It includes favourites from the band's first incarnation, "Lady Eleanor" and "Meet Me On The Corner" and the big hits from their second coming, "Run For Home" and "Warm Feeling". Also featured are early eighties showstoppers such as "I Must Stop Going To Parties" and "Stormy Weather".

Artist Background: The group began as 'The Downtown Faction', led by Rod Clements, but soon changed their name to Brethren. In 1968, they were joined by Alan Hull and became Lindisfarne after the island of that name off the coast of Northumberland. In 1970 Tony Stratton-Smith signed them to Charisma Records and their debut album Nicely Out of Tune was released that year. This album defined their mixture of bright harmony and up tempo folk rock. Neither single released from the album, "Clear White Light" nor "La... Part of the Newcastle upon Tyne music scene. Emerged in the 1970s era. Associated with Folk movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
