"Krokus" showcases a raw and energetic hard rock sound characteristic of the mid-1970s metal scene. The production is gritty yet polished, allowing the driving guitar riffs and thunderous drums to dominate the mix. Tracks like "Energy" and "Jumpin' In" feature a brisk tempo, infusing the album with a sense of urgency and excitement. The instrumentation is rich, with layered guitars creating a thick texture, while the bass provides a solid foundation. Songs such as "Angela, Part 1" and "Eventide Clockworks" introduce dynamic shifts, blending melodic hooks with heavier passages. The album's distinctive character lies in its ability to balance melodic sensibility with hard-hitting rock energy, making it a compelling listen for genre enthusiasts.
