Description: Novum Initium is the fifth album by German power metal band Masterplan, released on June 14th, 2013 on the AFM Records label.  In an 2012 interview with producer Roland Grapow over the then upcoming album, he stated that "We are looking for a more powerful album this time... still with great melodies and feelings, but also with more orchestration and faster stuff again… just more metal."

Artist Background: At the end of autumn 2001 during Helloween's "The Dark Ride Tour". Roland Grapow, present in the band since 1989, and Uli Kusch from 1994, decided to form a side project. Shortly after this decision, both were fired from their long-time job in Helloween. Born the name "Masterplan" based on the idea that they would be master musicians with the future in their hands, in the words of the Headbanger - Generated Trevino Garza (Creator of the name), starts the newest power metal band of the new mil... Part of the Hamburg, Germany music scene. Emerged in the 2000s era. Associated with Power Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
