Post Momentary Affliction" presents a dense tapestry of death and thrash metal, characterized by its aggressive tempos and intricate guitar work. The production captures a raw yet polished sound, allowing the relentless drumming and guttural vocals to dominate the mix while maintaining clarity in the instrumentation. The album features a variety of textures, from the frenetic energy of tracks like "Grind Planetarium" to the more atmospheric moments in "Illusions From the Valley of Darkness." The interplay between melodic riffs and harsh, chugging rhythms creates a distinctive sonic landscape, while the bass-driven interlude "Flight of Victory" adds an unexpected layer of depth.
