Hotel Sessions" presents a gritty alternative rock sound characterized by raw, unpolished production. The instrumentation blends jangly guitars with a driving rhythm section, creating a dynamic yet laid-back atmosphere. Tracks like "Big Gay Heart" and "Paid to Smile" showcase a mix of upbeat tempos and reflective melodies, while the energy fluctuates between anthemic choruses and introspective verses. The textures are layered, featuring a blend of distorted guitar riffs and melodic hooks that evoke a sense of nostalgia. The album's distinctive quality lies in its ability to balance catchy pop sensibilities with a rough-edged rock aesthetic, making it a compelling listen for fans of the genre.
