Description: Resurrection Macabre is the fifth studio album by Dutch technical death metal band Pestilence, which was released on March 16   2009 through Mascot Records. It is the band's first album of original material in 16 years, since 1993's Spheres. Re-recordings of "Chemo Therapy" from Malleus Maleficarum, "Out of the Body" from Consuming Impulse, and "Lost Souls" from Testimony of the Ancients appear as bonus tracks on the album.

Artist Background: Pestilence is a death metal band from Enschede, The Netherlands founded in 1986. Later they incorporated more jazz and fusion elements into their music. They released four albums before disbanding in order to pursue other musical directions in 1994. Pestilence reformed in 2008 and released their album ‘Resurrection Macabre' a year later in March. In late April 2011, the band released ‘Doctrine'. Part of the Enschede, Niederlande music scene. Emerged in the 1980s era. Associated with Death Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
