"Les Souvenirs sous ma frange" presents a delicate blend of folk-pop with a warm, intimate production style. The instrumentation is characterized by gentle acoustic guitar strumming, soft piano melodies, and subtle string arrangements that create a lush backdrop for Rose's ethereal vocals. The album maintains a moderate tempo, allowing for reflective moments in tracks like "De ma fenêtre" and "Le Mal de l'aube," while songs such as "Yes we did" inject a slight buoyancy. The sonic texture is rich yet understated, with layered harmonies that evoke a sense of nostalgia. Distinctive for its emotional depth and lyrical introspection, the album captures fleeting memories and personal reflections with a tender, inviting sound.
