Description: " Nebulous Nearnesses" The album was recorded during the second re-formation of the band . Recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World studio under the guidance of Gabriel's producer Ben Findlay. This is a "live in the studio" recording made in two days of October 2003 in a special recording studio before an invited audience.Original members Mike Heron and Clive Plamer were joined by Fluff (Vocalast and multi-instrumentalist) and Gavin Dickie (Bass). Lawson Dando and Steini Gudmundson also guest for this live performance.
The album was released in 2004 on the Amoeba Records label.

Artist Background: The Incredible String Band (sometimes abbreviated as ISB) were a psychedelic folk band formed in Scotland in 1966. The band built a considerable following, especially within the British counterculture, before splitting up in 1974. The group's members are musical pioneers in psychedelic folk and, by integrating a wide variety of traditional music forms and instruments, in the development of world music. The group reformed in 1999 and continued to perform until 2006. Part of the Edinburgh ,Scotland music scene. Emerged in the 1960s era. Associated with Psychedelic Rock movement. Known for Folk style.
