Description: With the exception of a two-year break in the early 2000's, Thunder have been delivering their brand of straight-up, blues-infused hard rock since founding members Danny Bowes and Luke Morley first paired up in 1980. Officially on record as Thunder in 1989, the group enjoyed success principally in their native U.K. THEIR FINEST HOUR (AND A BIT) is a well-rounded collection for diehard fans--or a perfect introduction for new ones.

Artist Background: Formed at the turn of 1989, Thunder have enjoyed an eventful 20 year career that has thankfully witnessed more highs than lows. The release of "Bang!" finds the quintet on a very remarkable high, and still very much masters of their own destiny. Having met in 1971 when they were 11, Danny and Luke have been playing in bands together since they were 15, so they knew exactly what they were going for in 1988 when they began working with Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) as producer. Harry James occupied... Part of the London, England, UK music scene. Emerged in the 1980s era. Associated with Hard Rock movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
