"Trouble" features a vibrant blend of electronic pop and house, characterized by intricate production and a rich sonic palette. The album showcases a variety of textures, from the shimmering synths in "Shimmer" to the organic instrumentation in "Household Goods." Tracks like "Promises" and "Your Love" pulse with an infectious energy, driven by rhythmic basslines and layered vocal harmonies. The tempo varies, creating a dynamic listening experience that oscillates between euphoric dance anthems and introspective moments, as seen in "You Need Me On My Own." The use of unconventional sounds, such as the panpipes in "Panpipes," adds a distinctive flair, making the album an engaging exploration of modern electronic music.
