"Greetings From Birmingham" showcases Scorn's signature blend of heavy bass and intricate soundscapes, characteristic of the late '90s electronic scene. The album features a diverse range of tempos, oscillating between the slow, brooding rhythms of tracks like "Still On" and the more frenetic energy of "Flap." Texturally, the production is rich and layered, with deep, resonant basslines and subtle, atmospheric elements that create a haunting ambiance. The use of minimalistic percussion and distorted samples adds a gritty edge, while tracks like "Told You Can Tell" and its variations explore variations in mood and intensity. Overall, the album stands out for its immersive sound design and its ability to evoke a sense of place and emotion through electronic means.
