Description: Liquor in the Front (subtitled Poker in the Rear) is the third album by The Reverend Horton Heat. It was jointly released by Sub Pop and Interscope Records in July 1994. Al Jourgensen (of Ministry-fame) produced the album.

The song "In Your Wildest Dreams" (along with "The Reverend" himself) was featured in a Homicide: Life on the Street episode from season four, entitled "Full Moon". Also, the song "I Can't Surf" appears in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and "Baddest of the Bad" appeared in Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.

The album title is from a double entendre, "Liquor ("lick her") in the front, poker ("poke her") in the rear".

Artist Background: The Reverend Horton Heat is the stage name of American musician Jim Heath (born 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas) as well as the name of his Dallas, Texas-based psychobilly trio. Heath is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. The group originally formed in 1985, playing its first gigs in Dallas's Deep Ellum neighborhood. Its current members are Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath on guitar and lead vocals, Jimbo Wallace on the upright bass, and Paul Simmons on drums. Their sound is self-described as "coun...
